{Mr. + Mrs. Starr}

What a fun last name, Starr!!  I met Ben and Erin awhile back.  Their wonderful wedding planner, Sonia, found my website and introduced us.  I met with them at the wedding site which was in Erin’s parents’ house in Riverside.  I immediately fell in love because there were little rows of orange trees nearby and some amazing large boulders a few streets away that looked perfect for some creative photo shots.  Ben and Erin transformed the backyard into such a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception site for their Oct 16th wedding day.  Erin pretty much came up with and made most of the decorating items and details that she had at her wedding.  From the coaster seating assignments to the signature whiskey lemonade stand to the “Who Will Fall in First” pool sign, Erin and Ben’s creativity and personalities were showcased.  I applaud Erin for all of her time spent on making so many handmade details.  It is so exciting for me when I get a bride who loves to do DIY projects for her wedding day.  After a very sweet and sincere wedding ceremony we spent some time reveling in the perfect sunlight and taking some great photos.  Then it was on to some tear-jerking toasts followed by some high energy action on the dance floor.  It was such a fun night and I was so happy to be a part of Ben and Erin’s special day.
